Guernsey Decriminalises Homosexual Acts & 'One in Five' Airs

In 1984, Guernsey decriminalised consensual homosexual acts between adults, extending legal reform to the Crown Dependencies. In the same year, Channel 4 aired 'One in Five', the UK's first national television series focusing on lesbian and gay life.
