Daniel Quasar created the Progress Pride Flag in 2018 by adding a hoist-side chevron to the six-colour rainbow. The chevron incorporates black and brown stripes for LGBTQ+ people of colour and pink, light blue and white from Monica Helms's Transgender Pride Flag.
