Brazil Becomes First Country to Restrict Conversion Therapy

The Brazilian Federal Council of Psychology issued Resolution 01/99, prohibiting licensed psychologists from offering 'gay cure' services, stating that homosexuality and bisexuality are not illnesses or deviations.
